My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult - I See Good Spirits And I See Bad Spirits

As it is 30 years ago this year (1988-2018), we just have to start right at the beginning with My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult aka Thrill Kill Kult/TKK, and their first album I See Good Spirits And I See Bad Spirits. TKK was formed by Frankie Nardiello aka Groovie Mann and Marston Daley aka Buzz McCoy after touring together with Ministry. Wax Trax! Records heard their early material (originally to soundtrack a film that was never completed/released) and signed them up. TKK were hugely successful, initially focusing on faux satanic themes but later with groovy, lounge grinding beats. TKK are celebrating their 30th anniversary by touring the USA this April. There are USA and European test pressing LPs, rare Wax Trax! UK editions for collectors to look out for. The album has been reissued by Wax Trax! Records/TVT (1993), Rykodisc (2004) and most recently in 2016, digitally via the band's own SleazeBox Records label including availability in hi-res WAV format.

During the height of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult's success they were joined by Thomas A. Lockyear, II aka Buck Ryder who went on to form, a CyberNoise favourite, The Electric Hellfire Club that played even more deeply on the satanic themes. Later years has seen an ever increasing pool of talent helping Frankie and Marston out leading to many related projects and releases including the female backing vocals group Bomb Gang Girlz!
